The Wild (DVD)

What it's about: A teen lion, Ryan finds itself on a ship to Africa, while his father, Samson (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland) and a bunch of friends including a squirrel (Benny), a girafe (Bridget), a koala (Nigel) and a snake (Larry) escape the NY Zoo to help find him back.

What I thought of it: It was too much like "Madagascar", but not as good. I didn't really enjoy it, it almost felt like I was watching a mixture of Madagascar and Lion King. The animals rendition wasn't that great... a bit dissapointed for a Disney movie... There were some good lines though, the squirrel (voiced by James Belushi)and the koala (voiced by Eddie Izzard) were the funniest!

Samson: Appears to be a human bathing area.
Nigel: You mean humans don't lick themselves clean? Disgusting!

Ryan: [to his father] I just want you to know I'm sorry you didn't have a father like the one I have.

It was ok for a rental, but that's about it!
