Thank You for Smoking (DVD)

What it's about: Satirical comedy follows the machinations of Big Tobacco's chief spokesman, Nick Naylor, who spins on behalf of cigarettes while trying to remain a role model for his twelve-year-old son. (IMdB's)

What I thought of it: Interesting. Some really good lines and I thought a good description of the lobbyist world. A good vilain and interesting point of view.

My favorite scene/quote: BR: We don't sell Tic Tacs, we sell cigarettes. And they're cool, available, and "addictive". The job is almost done for us.

Lorne Lutch: You look like a nice enough fella. What are you doing working for these assholes?
Nick Naylor: I'm good at it. Better at doing this than I ever was at doing anything else.
Lorne Lutch: Aw, hell, son. I was good at shooting VC. I didn't make it my career.

Good rental - a few good laughs!
