Monster House (DVD)

What it's about: Three kids realise that a neighbor's house across the street is actually a monster who eats kids and anything that goes on its property. They decide to go in to get to its heart and kill it...

What I thought of it: I thought it was a great movie - Not really for kids but quite enjoyable! The underline story of the old man living in the house is touching and overall I thought it was an interesting story. Not your ordinary movie, especially not for an animated one.

My favorite scene/quote: When the kids make it into the house and it turns into the monster:

Jenny: [waves flashlight at chandelier] Look! That must be its uvula!
Chowder: Oh. So its a GIRL house
Jenny: What?

This is a great rental, especially around Halloween!
Rent it you'll love it -but not really for "young" kids!
