The Matador (DVD)

What it's about: A hitman (Pierce Brosnan) and a salesman (Greg Kinnear) meet in a hotel bar in Mexico City and kind of become friends... Julian (the hitman) wants out of the business and is having problems doing his hits. He has no friends and loves to fuck!

What I thought of it: I started watching it, since I was curious about it (OK and because Mr, Brosnan was in it), it could have been interesting, and then my interest just faded away for some reason... Half way through I picked up my lap top and started catching up on blogs.

My favorite scene/quote: There were some "interesting" quotes in the parts I watched.

Julian is sitting on a bench, in a park, watching a Porche (a "job", about to blow up), when this kid comes by and starts asking him question. At one point Julian just says: ": I'd only be interested in your mother if she lost 20 pounds and 30 years."

Julian [after flirting with some Mexican schoolgirls]: "I hate these Catholic countries. It's all blushy-blushy and no sucky-fucky."

Julian: "I'm as serious as an erection problem."

[trying to convince Danny to help him on a hit]
Julian: Come on! It'll be a good time!
Danny: Oh, so now killing people is a good time?
Julian: ...Can be.

Not the best work of Mr. Brosnan if you ask me...
